Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) 2010

 

​PULSE Consulting Sdn Bhd (referred to as “PULSE” below)  respects the privacy of our customers, applicants, and employees and we acknowledge that you have certain rights related to any personal information we collect from you. PULSE supports the local privacy laws, and has procedures in place to meet the requirements of those laws including the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (“PDPA”)

 

The following information discloses our privacy principles in addition to our practices for gathering, storing, and using your personal data. We encourage you to review this information so that you may understand and consent to how we may collect, use, and share your personal information. Unless you provide sufficient personal information, we may be unable to assist you with your staffing or employment requirements.

 

PULSE's goal in collecting your personal data is to provide you with the most personalized service possible. In general, personal information is requested when you contact us to look for employment or to search for a candidate to fill a job opening. Such data may include information concerning your

  • Personal details (such as name, age, gender, identity card number, passport number, date of birth, education, race, ethnic origin, nationality);

  • Contact details (such as email, address, phone numbers), family information (such as marital status, name of spouses or child or immediate family member);

  • Occupation details (such as employer name, income, job title, current & expected salary, job responsibilities, employer’s contact information and address, reporting structure) and;

  • Other information such as financial reference (in respect of references check).

In addition the company may from time to time request for certain other personal information that may be relevant for the company to consider for your job application. This information may be required to provide benefits or to pass screening for sensitive positions as a condition of employment.

 

PULSE processes your personal data only for specific and limited purposes.

You agree that all personal data collected and/or processed by PULSE may include but not be limited to the following purposes:

  • To communicate with you;

  • To establish and maintain staffing/placement relationship with you;

  • To respond to your queries;

  • To assess your suitability for a position or task, to notify you of relevant opportunities, and arrange employment or assignments for you;

  • For marketing purposes and research purposes;

  • For all other purposes incidental and associated with any of the above.

 

PULSE would like to assure you that your personal data is kept confidential and we do not sell or trade personal data to third parties. We will disclose personal information when required by law.

 

You may at any time make a written request to PULSE to correct any personal data of yours that is inaccurate, incomplete, misleading or out-of-date and PULSE shall, upon receipt of your written request for correction(s), take all necessary measures to give effect to such correction(s).
